Adele Sauros is an active and versatile saxophonist, composer and bandleader within the European jazz scene.

Adele frequently performs as a bandleader and sidewoman with numerous groups such as the Adele Sauros Quartet, Katu Kaiku, JAF Trio, Superposition, Maan Tila and NIMBY to name a few. Sauros has performed throughout Europe in many renowned jazz festivals.
Her recordings include: Adele Sauros: I Paint You (Fresh Sound Records 2021), JAF Trio: JAF Trio (We Jazz Records 2020), Superposition: Superposition (We Jazz Records 2020), Katu Kaiku: Luna (Svart Records 2019), Adele Sauros: My Spontaneous Mind (2016), Katu Kaiku: Tokyo / Kuopio (2016) and Adele Sauros Quartet: It’s Who I Am (2014). Recently she has also played on the following albums: Aurora Hentunen Quartet: Second Spring (2018) and Laura Annika Quartet: Metsä (2017).

Sauros has received numerous grants and rewards and she has earned her Master’s degree in Music at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki, Finland.

Sauros’ music captures her Nordic heritage and conveys this rich storytelling tradition with a musical voyage full of emotions.
